SNACK Defense Maps: All 5 Battlefields and What Changes in Each

Every current SNACK Defense map — Candy Defense, Enchanted Forest, Dumpling Defense, Bee's Diner and Farmer's Market — with difficulties, unlock order and the run rules that change on each battlefield.

SNACK Defense currently has five battlefields: Candy Defense (Easy), Enchanted Forest (Medium), Dumpling Defense (Hard), Bee's Diner (Expert) and Farmer's Market (Extreme). You move through them in that order — every map has six levels, your first win on each level pays 4x the normal gems, and each map ends in a boss fight. Endless mode is not a sixth map; it is a level-50+ variant played on the Enchanted Forest layout. Here is what each battlefield actually changes about a run.

How map access and progression work

  • Progression order: Candy Defense (easy) → Enchanted Forest (medium) → Dumpling Defense (hard) → Bee's Diner (expert), with Farmer's Market added at the top of the difficulty curve in the newest update.
  • Access is gated in that order: you must beat Candy Defense before Enchanted Forest opens, and later maps unlock level by level rather than all at once.
  • Every map has six levels, and your first win on each level pays a 4x gem bonus. The four standard maps alone hold 24 first-win bonuses, so clear every level once before farming a favorite — the gems guide covers the rest of the economy.
  • Every map ends in a boss, typically King Bear and Queen Bear, with mini-bosses midway that can remove your slowing effects. On standard maps the final boss triggers a scripted cutscene introducing an assisting ally, which makes first clears more forgiving.
  • Matches reward gems, luck and XP, and placed snacks also gain tower XP over time.

Candy Defense (Easy): the starting campaign

Candy Defense is where you learn placement, upgrades and wave pacing. Level 1 runs six waves, and beating it unlocks your first tower, Grape Juice. The campaign scales sharply — the level 1 boss sits around 1,000 HP while the level 6 dual bosses are reported at 161,000+. Treat those as reported figures per level, not fixed stats. A community unit roadmap pairs each stage with a setup:

StageReported boss HPSetup
Candy 1–2~1,000–13,000Soup early, add Waffle for leaks
Candy 3–4~70,000 mini-bossAdd Popsicle, max it first
Candy 5~137,0002–3 maxed Popsicles + Soup
Candy 6~161,000 dual bosses4 maxed Popsicles + maxed Waffle

Clearing the campaign pays the Candy title and opens Enchanted Forest. If you are new, run it alongside the beginner guide and the units list.

Enchanted Forest (Medium): twisty paths and healing mushrooms

Enchanted Forest introduces tougher waves on a "twisty, tangled" route through a mushroom forest village. You fight mushrooms — including a healing mushroom that restores enemies, so plan burst damage or focus fire for it — and mini-bosses appear along the way. The deeper you get, the harder it hits. Long coverage matters on the winding path: one returning player parked Hot Sauce units at the back of the map because that spot covers a good portion of the route. This same battlefield hosts Endless mode once you reach level 50.

Dumpling Defense (Hard): the buff-stacking check

Dumpling Defense is the hard step between Enchanted Forest and Bee's Diner, and the verified note on it is short: it requires buff stacking. In practice that means support auras. Milk gives every snack in its circle 50% more damage and Coffee adds up to 40% attack speed; the two multiply (1.5 × 1.4 ≈ 2.1x damage), but only the strongest buff of each type counts, so one Milk and one Coffee per group is plenty. Stack support pairs into your squad before queueing this map — the tier list and best loadout guide help with the picks.

Bee's Diner (Expert): the countertop exam

Bee's Diner is the expert map — "endgame squad required." You start on a diner countertop with enemies marching toward food objectives like the pie, and the layout punishes spread-out defenses: some spawns appear in spots that bypass poorly placed units entirely. Plan around these threats:

  • Blueberries arrive in tight groups and overwhelm single-lane defenses.
  • Fast worms slip past slow-attacking units, so mix in fast hitters.
  • Feather Bear and a King Bear boss with a reported 12,000+ HP that walks through unupgraded defenses.

Your base starts at 150 HP, and the benchmark is simple: if it holds above 100 HP through wave 5, your opening build is working; under-leveled players commonly drop to single digits by wave 5, which means restart and stack economy instead of early unit count. The map is tuned for players well above level 28 with upgraded units, and expert maps reward patience — farm easier maps for gems, secure new summons, then return with a built roster. One level-76 player did clear level 1, but with a helper who joined mid-run; see the co-op guide.

Farmer's Market (Extreme): three lanes and a fixed budget

Farmer's Market is the newest and hardest map yet: Extreme difficulty, six new levels and three lanes, with the mushrooms back "and they brought friends." It launched alongside the Save the Market event (announced for Oct 3 ~ Oct 19), and those event rules change a run completely:

  • You must be past level 10 and talk to the Farmer to start.
  • You get a fixed 20,000 cash and earn no income during the run, so divide it across a few relatively cheap units you want to keep for the whole event instead of blowing it on one pick.
  • Mushrooms pour out of the barn along multiple tracks that open from different doors. One first run placed its units away from those door tracks and was overrun around wave 70 — placement is everything.
  • You protect food objectives like the pie, and there is no end goal: the waves never stop, so hold out as long as you can.

The farther you survive, the more apples you earn. Trade them with the Farmer across 10 reward tiers — including the event-exclusive Avocado and the Market Savior title — and the top 100 on the event leaderboard win big prizes; runs also pay normal gems and XP. These rules are tied to the dated launch window, so recheck in-game after an update if you arrive later. The event guide tracks what is currently live.

Endless mode: level 50+, same forest

Endless is not a sixth battlefield. It unlocks at level 50 and is played on the Enchanted Forest map at medium difficulty, paying more the deeper you survive — gem rewards are listed per ten-wave bracket (waves 1–10 pay 60 gems). One recorded run to wave 148 paid about 1,900 gems in 12 minutes at 3x speed. A weekly best-wave leaderboard tracks the deepest runs; the leveling guide, leaderboards overview and Endless mode guide cover the route in.

How layout changes your unit picks

Map layout changes which units matter: path shape and enemy grouping decide whether a multi-target snack that dominates a winding route still earns a slot on a shorter map, so reassess your priorities whenever an update adds a battlefield (new-map news lands on the updates page). Tier-list guides often use shorthand names like Candyland, Kitchen and Forest — these are not confirmed in-game map names, so match them to the official battlefield list above by difficulty and theme rather than by label.

Two habits transfer everywhere. On a brand-new map, identify the enemy path first, then place cheap specialists to hold the route while you learn where the expensive units belong. On early maps, use the highlighted "optimal place" circles, cluster AoE units near path bends, and keep at least one anti-air unit (Melon) equipped, because flying waves punish a grounded-only team — the enemies guide breaks down what each battlefield throws at you.

Pick the hardest map your roster can hold, clear its six levels for the 4x first-win gems, then move up the curve.
