SNACK Defense Endless Mode Guide: Unlock, Wave Rules, and Gem Rewards
SNACK Defense Endless Mode unlocks at account level 50. See how its endless waves work, what deep runs pay in gems and trait dice, and how to farm runs efficiently.
SNACK Defense Endless Mode is the game's infinite-wave mode: unlock it at account level 50, pick it from the same map picker you use for standard matches, and hold out against waves that never stop scaling. There's no final boss waiting at the end — depth is the whole point, and depth is what pays. Deeper runs hand over more gems, feed your trait-dice rolls, count toward the weekly leaderboard, and raise your account level while you grind, which makes Endless the mode most guides point to as the long-term gem farm.
How to unlock and enter Endless Mode
The gate is account level 50. The in-game sign for the mode reads "Level 50 plus required. How far can you go?" and progression guides list reaching level 50 as the Endless unlock milestone. If you're still leveling, guides recommend grinding standard maps plus daily and weekly quests and aiming for level 57+ so the medium-difficulty Endless map, Enchanted Forest, is enterable.
Entering works from the same map and mode selection you already use for standard matches: the picker offers roughly five standard maps, or you can jump straight into Endless to grind waves and leaderboard scores. The Endless card tells you what you're signing up for — Enchanted Forest at medium difficulty, gem brackets that climb as you go deeper (waves 1–10 are listed at 60 gems, and the brackets keep rising), and the weekly best-wave record to beat. Guides send level-50 players to Enchanted Forest; the picker in your lobby shows the current Endless lineup.
How Endless rounds differ from standard maps
Three rules set Endless apart:
- Waves scale indefinitely. Standard maps teach the basics and end at a fixed final boss; Endless keeps stacking waves for as long as your defense holds, and every wave feeds your leaderboard standing.
- It's built around survival records. The leaderboard scores your best Endless run, so pushing one extra wave directly improves your position. Guides report that reaching wave 100+ unlocks consistent weekly leaderboard rewards, with top weekly runs landing at 239+ — one recorded week's winner reached 395. How the displayed score maps to your wave record is currently inconsistent: one recorded player couldn't tell whether his 81 was a rank or a wave score, so treat the in-game board as the source of truth for scoring and current reward tiers.
- Your base runs on 100 hearts. Hearts drain every time an enemy leaks through — one recorded deep run was down to 17 hearts out of 100 at wave 176 and still collected its payout. The early benchmark is surviving 30+ waves by upgrading towers and placing backup units near the base.
What Endless runs pay
Gem payouts scale with run depth, and runs repeat:
| Run depth | Reported payout |
|---|---|
| Waves 1–10 (entry bracket on Enchanted Forest) | 60 gems, with later brackets rising |
| Wave 148 (12 minutes at 3x speed) | ~1,900 gems — about 19 standard summons |
| Around wave 166 | ~2,000 gems per run |
| Around wave 170 (roughly 15-minute runs) | ~2,000 gems, run after run |
These are point benchmarks from guide testing and recorded runs, not a per-wave formula, and the figures can shift with balance updates — the brackets on the map card are your current numbers. A recorded run that pushed to wave 176 collected 2,500 gems.
Gems are only part of it. Trait dice — what you roll at the lobby's giant dice for unit traits — come from two main sources: Endless mode and daily quests, with Endless scaling rewards to depth. Grinding Endless also raises your account level; one recorded player climbed from level 67 to 85 across Endless sessions. That combination is why Endless anchors the gem economy: guides treat it as the most efficient farm for big purchases like the 25,000-gem Limited Soda or the 90,000-gem Banana Split, and it features in our how to get gems fast plans.
A repeatable Endless farming routine
- Clear quests first. Knock out the 50-enemy and 3-win dailies before queuing Endless — a 250-gem baseline, with new dailies every 12 hours, and quest rewards stack with your run payouts.
- Run at 3x speed and push as deep as your team allows. Deeper runs pay dramatically more, and a single deep 3x-speed run is the most efficient session format: roughly 12 minutes for enough currency to fund both summons and rolls.
- Tune the loadout for Endless. Endless and arena reward different unit choices than the story maps, so build a budget setup that clears wave 100+, keep backup units near the base for late-wave leaks, and focus-fire lanes as the run goes long. One documented late-game example clears past wave 170 on Enchanted Forest with Honey Bear + Soda + Ramen — Honey Bear's 40% slow plus Soda poison forms a kill zone where nothing gets past, with the Soda deleting bosses for up to 179,000 damage over 4 seconds at max upgrade. Our best loadout guide covers the unit choices.
- Repeat runs toward a target purchase. The 25,000-gem Limited Soda and the 90,000-gem Banana Split are the usual Endless-farm goals, with milestones from unlocking the mode at level 50 to pushing past wave 170.
- Watch performance past wave 130. With max towers, frame drops are common; positioning the camera away from the action helps keep late waves playable.
The loop from there is simple: enter at level 50, run at 3x speed, and push one wave deeper each session — the map card's gem brackets and the weekly board tell you what the next run is worth.
